Super Frozen Tuna

Our Big Eye Tuna is caught by sashimi long-line vessels in the deep seas of the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian Oceans.
The tuna is then quickly bled, processed and frozen at -60C or below on board before rigormortis sets in. This means the tuna is kept frozen like freshly caught.
This is why Super Frozen Tuna is fresher than fresh tuna. (Fresh tuna is often sold at retail stores approx. 7-14 days after it is caught.)

And Super Frozen Tuna has no additives and 100% natural unlike so-called tasteless CO tuna.
Super Frozen Tuna is always stored at -60C or below until it is sold to our customers.
The consistent extra low temperature is very important to maintain the good quality of meat in color, taste and texture. We have a unique super freezer-storage with -60C or below at our plant in Elizabeth, NJ and our branches nationwide.
